It is the requirement of Senate File 2272, for all school districts to report health insurance information to the public.

The Delwood Community School District provides a premium paid Wellmark Alliance Select Policy JND with a Blue RX Preferred - Prescription Drug Plan QPT.

Certified teaching staff and full-time employees proportioned to a full FTE receive 95% of the premium for a single policy or they may opt for a board paid Tax Saver Annuity if they have insurance through their spouse or other group. (Family coverage is available at the staff member's own expense.)

Delwood Health Care Rates

The current rates for 2007-2008 beginning July 1, 2007 are as follows:

Single Coverage per month - $368.59

Family Coverage per month - $921.49

The Wellmark Alliance Select plan has a single deductible of $1,000 and a family deductible of $2,000. The Out of Pocket maximum for a single plan is $2,000 and $4,000 for the family plan. Covered services are paid at 90% for participating providers and 80% for non-participating providers.

The prescription drug card has co-payments of $10/$25/$40 depending upon the prescription.
